Please join us as we kick off our third meeting of the new year, and our second meeting conducted in a virtual/webinar format. This webinar will discuss the possibility of new programs formed by the private business sector and public policy in response to catastrophic global events, like COVID-19. While many assume that a future "PRIA" or Pandemic Risk Insurance Act would be in place Post-COVID-19, there are other programs that can be created to alleviate the economic consequences of the next global catastrophe.

This webinar is being offered to all CPCU and non-CPCU members, as well as to our local university students. ALL are invited to attend, and for your entrance fee, we are requesting your consideration in making a charitable donation (large or small) benefiting the PHL COVID-19 FUND (college students are free). CPCU chapters across the country have been stepping up and giving back to those in need during this pandemic, and our chapter also would like to give back to our local community.

Launched on March 19, 2020, the PHL COVID-19 Fund brings together a diverse coalition of philanthropy, government and business partners to create a regional rapid response fund that complements the work of regional public health officials and expands local capacity to address the effects of this national emergency on our region as efficiently and effectively as possible. The Fund is a joint venture between Philadelphia Foundation and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ).
